How it works-Step 3

Start the grinder and when at full speed gently engage the the drill bit and by depressing the shank, move the point upward while keeping slight forward pressure against the grinding wheel and the body of the drill against the guide wall. The upward movement should be about the same as the diameter of the bit, or until the entire land has been ground. Do not twist or turn. Repeat on opposite land.
