The organization’s subpar ratings regarding ownership, team environment, and facilities are now more significant than ever before.

One executive pointed out to Pryor that while these factors are typically more significant in college football than in the NFL, they still play a crucial role.

“There are real concerns about the ownership’s dedication to spending money to modernize this traditional franchise,” wrote Pryor, echoing sentiments from an experienced coaching insider.

“They need to increase salaries.”

The source noted that while this job is better than many others in the NFL, the reality remains that football is fundamentally a business where financial incentives matter.
